Just one week left until our Snoopy litter heads off to their forever families! We’ve cherished our time with these sweet pups and are so excited for what’s ahead. I’ll be including a few helpful tips, along with a link to the food they’re currently on and a crate we highly recommend—it’s truly essential for a smooth transition.

Tips for Your Puppy’s First Day Home
🐾
Bringing your puppy home is such a special day! Here are a few tips to help the transition go smoothly for both of you:
🏡
1. Keep It Calm and Quiet
Limit visitors for the first couple of days.
Let your puppy explore one area at a time to avoid overwhelm.
🛏️
2. Set Up a Safe Space
Use a crate or a small puppy-proofed area.
Keep their bed, food/water, and a couple of toys there.
🍽️
3. Stick With the Same Food
We recommend continuing the same food for at least the first 1–2 weeks.
Any changes should be gradual to avoid tummy upset (we’ll include a link to the food we use!).
💩
4. Start a Potty Routine
Take your puppy out:
First thing in the morning
After eating or drinking
After playtime or naps
Before bed
Praise and reward immediately after they go outside.
🐶
5. Let Them Sleep
Puppies need 18–20 hours of sleep a day.
Overtired puppies can be cranky or mouthy—think toddler tantrum!
💕
6. Be Patient
Your puppy just left their litter—expect a little whining the first night or two.
Comfort them, but avoid creating habits you won’t want long-term (e.g., sleeping in your bed unless that’s your plan).
We look forward to seeing all of you soon and definitely feel the excitement and anticipation just knowing how much you are going to love your newest addition to your family 🥰
