To achieve the highest breeding standards, we meticulously select our breeding partners, based on genetics, coat colors/texture, and temperament to produce the highest quality puppies possible. - STUD SERVICES -
At Homestead Doodles, we offer Happiness to other reputable and highly qualified breeders by providing stud service to compatible females. Healthy offspring is our highest priority which is why we screen all potential breeding partners for coat colors and furnishings, health and disease traits, overall health and physical abilities, and size. All of the studs within our breeding program are CKC or AKC registered, genetically screened through Paw Print Genetics, and OFA certified for hips and elbows. Our studs are well socialized, great with children, and are obedience trained. Contact us for information on pricing and availability.
- GUARDIAN HOME -
At Homestead Doodles, the health, safety and wellbeing of our breeding dogs is our first priority. We go to great lengths to provide a long-lasting and loving environment for all of our dogs where their long-term care comes first. This is why we place our breeding dogs in Guardian Homes; we never place our dogs in kennels or rehome them after breeding.
Our Guardian Dogs are placed with a qualified family (aka Guardian Home) at approximately eight (8) weeks old and they remain in that home for the duration of their lives. Homestead Doodles chooses the pick of the litter as the Guardian Dog and retains ownership of the Guardian Dog while in the care of a qualified family. When the breeding obligations have been fulfilled, Homestead Doodles transfers full ownership of the altered (spayed/neutered) Guardian Dog to the Guardian at no cost.
